Restart Apps

This page explains how to restart the browser, softphone and VPN. 

Restart Applications

Step 1: Log User out of Scripter
The fastest way to do this is to hit F5.  Don't skip this step, or it will cause an issue where the user is logged out of Scripter a few times after reconnecting.
 

 

Step 2:  Find the Phone Icon
This is located in the lower right-hand corner of the screen (by the clock) in the system tray.
 

 

Step 3:  Exit the Softphone

Right click the icon to bring up the menu, then click Exit at the bottom of the menu.
 

 

Step 4:  Find the Check Point Icon
This is located in the lower right-hand corner of the screen (by the clock)  in the system tray.
 

 

Step 5:  Exit Check Point
Right click the icon to bring up the menu, then click Shutdown Client''' at the bottom of the menu.
 

 

Step 6:  Confirm Shutdown
Click Yes to confirm that you want to shutdown Check Point.
 

 

Step 7:  Login
All the applications are shut down.  Login as you normally would.
