Modem Reboots

Modem reboots are done when there is a perceived Network issue.

These are some hints that the network may be having issues:

  • Web pages load slowly
  • Scripter keeps giving connection errors

Note:  There is no maintenance that needs to be done a modems.  Generally, the ISP takes care of that.  We want to reboot it when we see there is an issue.  If someone has to reboot their modem often, then it is a sign there is something else wrong.
