Initial Computer Setup
Setting up your computer properly is crucial to ensure you're ready to go from day one. Please follow these steps carefully:
Step 1: Create Your Work Email
Start Chrome: On your work PC’s desktop, double-click the Google Chrome icon.
Set Up Email: Follow our detailed guide to create your work email. Even if you're familiar with setting up an email account, please follow our specific instructions to ensure everything is set up correctly. [Click here for instructions.]
Stay Logged In: Please make sure you remain logged into Gmail after setting up your account. This is crucial as it allows us to set up your other accounts.
Step 2: Enable IT Access
Open UltraViewer: Double-click the UltraViewer icon on your desktop. This software allows our IT department to access your computer remotely to finalize the setup.
Send Access Details: Email the ID displayed by UltraViewer to workfromhome@imkgp.com. Include your name and start date in the email for reference.
Important Notes:
Ensure all PC equipment, including webcam and headset, is connected before emailing IT.
Privacy Assurance: Your webcam will never be turned on without your permission. Ensure your webcam cover is closed when not in use.
Step 3: IT Confirmation
After your computer is set up, our IT team will contact you to schedule a brief call (less than 10 minutes) to walk you through logging in. They will use the contact number provided in your employee file.
